Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with a series of rap songs dealing with issues related to race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood following the release of several rap songs. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop training began as she was in her teens. Following a focus on education, she graduated with a degree in journalism in university and also a women's study specialization. She didn't start focusing on music until she graduated. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet before settling on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. The other viral hit songs included queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchecity tour. The track that was the last one to be closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide published in 2015. The resume of her included the musician and author. She was now looking for a new career path in acting. She has appeared in films including Neighbors 2, Storks, and Bad Rap.
