Marilu and Jennifer

Marilu Henner, a woman with the energy and wisdom of an adolescent combined with the wisdom of a sage is the best example today of modern day woman who is able to be all things to all people. She's an actress, a writer health guru, talk show host, producer, entrepreneur, director, dancer, comedian model and, most importantly, wife and mother! Perpetual Motion, as she is known by many people. Marilu Henner's entire life is an example of the effectiveness of her approach to health. Her belief is that good health will allow you to do anything. However, it wasn't always this way. As a teenager she was a dieter who yo-yo'd and watching her weight go upwards. She was always feeling sick as she was emotional about eating. She knew that when her parents were dying in their forties and her mother suffered from issues related to arthritis, as well as her father of a cardiac arrest--that she needed to remain vigilant about her overall health. The goal was not to lose weight, it was to improve the health of our bodies and develop a lifestyle that would maximize the capacity of our bodies to work.
