Robyn Rihanna (also known as Rihanna is an Barbadian pop singer and songwriter. She's had hit songs like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, and Take a Bow. Rihanna is one of the most successful artists in the history of music. In her prime she's sold more than 150 million tracks and 41 million CDs worldwide. Her parents hail originally from Barbados, and she started singing when she was a teenager. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and the endless fights between her parents she immersed herself in music, and soon realized that she wanted to become a professional musician. They formed a group as a teenager and then had an opportunity to perform with producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed with the talent of the young girl. Rihanna moved in New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna quickly became an international sensation as her debut album made its way to the marketplace. Rihanna's songs that were a little giddy were most popular among young people and enticed her to make films. A beautiful young woman with a great talent, she's today considered the teen idol of today and also a fashion icon.
